How We Do God’s Work

Our Christian faith community exists to glorify God and to do his work here on earth.  We do that through our various ministries.  These efforts provide opportunities for people to help others, to learn about God’s teachings, to help spread his word, and to help the church achieve it’s mission.  If you would learn more about any of the activities please Contact us or call the church office.

Bears

Our Bear Ministry has traveled throughout the world – bringing comfort and love to people.  We have sent out over 10,000 bears in ministry.

Thank you to all who have hugged a bear, brought bears to be deployed, taken a bear to someone, and also to those who have started bear ministries after attending Beach UMC. We love to hear testimonies from those who have received our bears and welcome feedback.  Our bear ministry is always willing to receive bears to be prepared for service.

Participating in a Bible Study is a great way to unlock God’s teachings in the Bible.  It’s also a great way to meet, engage, and learn with other faith seekers.  We typically study one book at a time and read 2-3 chapters each week.  Our Bible study is currently on hold.  Please use the Contact form to ask questions and get the meeting info.

We have a Book Club group that meets to read and discuss a Christian or faith based book.  This is another way we help build and strengthen our faith.  The Book Club meets weekly to discuss the current book.  It is held via Zoom and all are welcome to join.  Participants jointly select the book and need to acquire their own copy.  Please use the Contact form to ask questions and get the meeting info.

Volunteering helps the church achieve it’s mission. Whether you serve as a greeter, help to usher people, work in the office, help with technology, sing in the choir, or help decorate the church, it all is done to glorify God.  We are always in need of volunteers.  If you’d like to volunteer, please call the office or fill out the Contact form
